About Me

My Story
After high school, I was faced with a choice—travel to Europe or buy my first DSLR camera. I chose the Canon Rebel XTi, knowing I’d one day make it to Europe on my own dime. That camera became my passport to another kind of journey. At Palomar College, I took a photography class that introduced me to the world of professional photography—and to Travis Burke, who became both a friend and creative influence. My passion behind the lens opened unexpected doors. I soon found myself in Japan, Okinawa, and South Korea, taking portraits at U.S. base schools and capturing moments during my travels. Each place left an imprint on me, and the experiences shaped the way I see the world.
When the earthquake hit Japan, I returned home. I gradually stepped back from photography and shifted focus toward the tech world—diving into app development, building websites, learning game design, and embracing the digital frontier.
Now, you’re here, reading this—and that means something new is unfolding. This is a rebirth of the creative side of Chris. With the tools, experiences, and passion I’ve collected along the way, I’m stepping back into the world of visual storytelling. This is my new chapter, and I’m excited to share it with you.
My Approach
Vision
Photography is about more than just technical skill—it's about having a unique perspective and the ability to see beauty in unexpected places. Specializing in landscape, event, and corporate photography, I create images that not only capture moments but evoke emotion and tell compelling visual stories. From dramatic black and white compositions to vibrant natural scenes, each photograph is crafted with intention.
Process
Each photograph represents a careful process of composition, lighting consideration, and post-processing. I strive for authenticity in my work, using editing techniques to enhance rather than fabricate.
